Orkut remains a mystery to most analysts when it comes to its popularity in the Brazilian market. While Orkut has started to lose to Facebook in India, it remains the dominant social networking service in Brazil. However, things are changing… Facebook is growing at a faster rate and it might not be far away when it overtakes Orkut in Brazil too. It would however take sometime…  The different at the moment is pretty staggering. Orkut saw 36 million unique visitors last month. Facebook in comparison saw 9 million visitors. In fact, Windows Live is ahead of Facebook in Brazil!
